In Loving Memory

A beautiful baby so wonderfully formed,

So full of love for mother and all.

He never did breathe the air of this earth,

Or smell pretty flowers upon the church.

He did know the love of a special two,

The Mother and Father of whom he knew.

He knew of their love right from the start,

Their love that surrounded his sweet little heart.

All night he would listen for those voices so dear,

So soft, so gentle, so very near.

His life was short lived but not in vain,

For he never did fear of hatred or pain.

And he takes with him something not many could give,

It's the hearts of his parents, their sweet special gift.

He will take them to heaven to show all up there,

And ask God's blessing upon a special pair.

Don't be sad I can hear him say,

For up here with the Father is where I'll stay.

"I will see you again one day soon,

And Mummy and Daddy - I love you too"
